Today is our hundredth independence day. This is an international forum so what do you guys know about Finland?

Let's make this funny, we Finns are not that.

Santa (i couldn't spell it. Lol) is from Finland! Americans just don't get it.

a good list!( I'm not sure how Finland handled your declaration, i hope we did a good job like we did with Estonia. When they declared in the 90's, Finland just said our earlier one stands.)

Somehow MKSixer is able to put up with political views from Finns (we only have one here) despite the fact that they oftentimes go against his position. Must be a superpower.

Judging by the language, very first Finns and Hungarians were separated at birth.
Two major automotive companies are Valmet and Sisu. This honestly sounds like a title of a children's book.
When I was a kid we had a show on tv called Ante, the Boy from Lapland and it was weird. Also it was made in Norway, so go figure.
I work with a girl who is half Finnish half Nowegian and she is hot.
Also, NOKIA.

The last Fin I met was when I was in Vilnius last summer (Lithuania).
He lost every drinking game to me and some dodgy lithuanian guy who knew every place to still get alcohol once the pubs closed.

Yes, Hungarians and us have shared roots. Considering they got the nice place to live, we are still bitter.

As for cars, we manufacture more but so does those two companies. All i can say about their automotive products is that if tour life is on the line and you have to fix any product of any company: Take a Sisu. 5theyre made for army, and the wiring is so easy an idiot can fix it (driving one is an other thing).
