Yeah I think so too. This is now the 2nd season where his performance is way lower than Max and he makes silly mistakes.
I don't know if Lando will fill his seat because he will be a 2nd driver then instead of 1st driver at mcLaren. Maybe not by contract, but it's hard to compete with Max. But I'm sure RB will welcome him, and Max is open to it as well.
We also don't know how McLaren will progress this season; that might also keep NOR at McLaren if the car is improved. It will be interesting to follow what Lando will do.

It's no secret that Max and Lando get along very well, also off track. Both got Flemish mothers (Max's mother Sophie is from Genk - Lando's mother Cisca is from Sint-Niklaas).

I doubt that Max and Checo do this together:

Look like dream teammates to me until Lando starts wanting to be a world champ himself as soon as he masters the RB's driving style then friends will become track opponents, as we know Max won't give an inch and Lando may have second thoughts about joining RB as long as Max is there.
In the cold light of day I would choose easy going Yuki if it comes to Checo being replaced or keep asking Albon.

But the gap to Max is still half a second on such a short track, in the same car.

Just like last year the Ferrari seems VERY edgy. It stepped out on Charlie twice in the last 2 corners yesterday. He was driving with a checkers or wreckers mentality. Can't be successful doing that for an entire race.

Seems to me it's set up for oversteer too much for Charlie and Carlo has got used to it a little more with sawing the steer wheel in a certain way.
