Piece of cake. I used a putty knife to start the separation of the black and silver roll bar covers. Once I got it started I was able to pry them apart with my fingers. No need to replace the black front covers, just installed the new rear silver covers, attached the supports using the screws and snapped in the deflector. Took less than 30 minutes. Don't know if it really makes any difference as I don't have enough hair to even blow around. The real test will be in a few weeks when the wife and I drive down to the Carolinas. I hope to do some top down driving in the NC mountains.

My interior is the standard leather in cream beige. I know it's a little bland, but we like it. I didn't want black and the red was just a little over the top for my wife and I.

Big time bummer today. I found some damage on both my front and rear bumpers when I was waxing the car. Looks like damage caused by the tiedowns on either the ship or truck. I have already emailed my CA and waiting on a reply. I sure hope I don't get hassled trying to get this resolved.

When I get a car here and everything is not perfect when I take delivery, I don't have to argue I can just walk away....no headaches! |

Hey rmorin, don't sweat it. I'm sure BMW will make good on it. It'll get fixed up and you'll never see the difference. Sure is a bummer though. |

My dealer said they will fix everything to my satisfaction, no problem. Will drop off the car next Monday evening. They are giving me a loaner for the 2-3 days it will take to repair it. Damage is fairly minor but noticeable expecially on the front bumper. Looks like it might have rubbed on the tie downs from the car in front of it. I am somewhat surprised and disappointed that it was not noticed when the car was "cleaned up" either at the VDC or the dealer. I feel much better now.
