Anyone watch this game? Pelicans are matching up VERY well against Golden State! They can't really guard Anthony Davis. To go into Oracle Arena which is really like a college atmosphere: loud as fuk, and lose by only 7pts is very encouraging.
Boy do I love having NBA TV! Exclusive full post game interviews. Look at these stats: Look at how similar they are. |

Didnt see most of the games today but none of the results surprised me.
the only Surprise was Peirce leading the way in scoring for the Wiz. he has always been a big game player, but I thought Wall Beal or Gortat would be leading the way........but then, it isnt how much shots you take but how much you make. I think a lot of Anthony Davis' stars today were empty, based in Checking in on the game. however based on the Box Score, the Warriors have to be careful. The Pels are new to the Playoffs and you can give them confidence. the pretty much played the Warriors even or won every quarter except for the first. this could play into the hands of the Pelicans in believing in themselves as worthy competitors to the warriors and that's always dangerous. As I said before and i say again, if there is to be an upset in the west, I think is the Mavs/ Rockets series. I think Dallas is deeper, more versatile and has the better Coach. on top of that, being an interstate rival, there is really no true home court advantage for the Rockers in this has i'm sure there are tons of Dallas fans living in Houston and Vice versa.........lets see how it plays out |

Have you seen the Spurs play at all? Kawhi gets a steal break away dunk and trots back to play defense.... he makes a well timed corner 3 and trots back to play defense He does not shoot 3s and walk back before it goes in to show off his shot nor does he pump his chest or stick out his tongue like Curry. Im sorry what the warriors players dont realize is they havent WON anything yet, so show some class and respect |

Cavs and Celtics game was good in the first half. As expected, Cavs blow out. Boring. Looking forward to the Western conference games later tonight.

Haters? LMFAO!!! Here come the epic bandwagoners. Bet ya ass was invisible like ya team not that long ago.
I'm a fan of and play the game. I call it like I see it. Sure they had a impressive regular season. This is the playoffs tho. Holler at me when they clinch the West. |

Spurs played one of the worst games they could have possibly played, thankfully its game 1 and they really lost nothing as no one expected any of these teams to sweep. this os going to be a long series of at least 6 games. that being said, I predicted that of all the west teams, the clippers were the worst Matchup for the Spurs because of the big Athletic front line. I doubt the Spurs will play this bad again in the series, however there are legitimate problems that will have to be addressed in order for US to win.
1. Forget about fouling D'Andre Jordan and focus on Spurs basketball. In a free flowing game there is no team that can match the Spurs. 2. Danny Green has got to play better. One of the reasons we lost against the Pelicans is he took no shot in that game. He has got to outplay Redick and Jamal Crawford. He also has got to be the primary defender on Chris Paul because Parker is not 100%. 3 Spurs need to play small with Diaw at the 4 or 5 rather than Baynes. I still don't believe either Griffin or Jordan can play Duncan 1 on one on the Block, so inserting Diaw to draw one of them away from Basket will be important in creating room to operate. 4. Spurs have got to make shots. for as good as the Clippers were defensively. the Spurs just shot really poorly even on uncontested baskets and free throw |

Why the hate anyways? Must be still bitter when the Mavs got knocked out by the 8th seed in 2007. |

And THIS is why Rondo must GTFO... How the fuk do you casually dribble the ball up for a 8 sec violation... Which leads to a wide open 3 by Houston? This MF is either intentionally sabotaging the Mavs or he is a foking numskull. Either way, he gots to go. With Devin Harris gimpy ass sidelined with a toe injury, we have zero PG to guard Hardin. Also Ellis is NOT playing to his potential either. But without question, Dwight Howard is causing all sorts of chaos in the paint for the Mavs. Lick ya wounds, man up, and get these next 2 at home Dallas...

i am lossing hope in this era of nba. for example, last night hou vs dallas. when amare fouled d12, they reviewed it to see if it was a flagrant. i mean, that would consider a baby slap foul back in the days.

No shit! Then right after that when Dirk got hit in the nose by Dwight's arm going for the ball and that was called a flagrant foul... Seemed like the Refs were gunning for the Mavs to win. Sorry officiating and no real consistency!
