My New (to me) Car - Paint Job
Hi Everyone, picked up a used 35i a few weeks ago. Being a bit OCD about these things, I decided to have the front end repainted to get rid of the chips, etc. The car has everything besides Nav, Park Distance, and the M bodywork. I considered just switching out the front bumper cover with the M one, which would've been ≈$800 more. After giving it a lot of thought, I realized what I liked most about the M versus non-M bumper was the fact that the two middle louver things went all the way to the bottom and were body-colored. So, instead, I just had the body shop do this with the paint (see attached pics). Caveat: it takes a trained eye (or at least a Where's Waldo veteran) to spot the difference.
In the meantime, I also had the front reflectors painted, which I think looks pretty good. Also, de-badged the side ones, got a Peugeot stubby antenna, installed a Smarttop, and I'm going into Dinan Monday morning for a Stage 2 tune. Anyway, wanted to officially say hi and show people who might appreciate the paint work (as opposed to my wife, who definitely does NOT). |

For comparison:
Also, does anyone have any opinions about Premier to get a clear bra? I have an appointment in a couple weeks, but wanted to see if there was any better recommendations. |

Congrats! I really like what you've done with the front. Looks great on Tiag. Only hear good stuff about Premier. Slightly more costly, but they do good work. Go for it.
