Noobs
guys, I've noticed a lot of new people joining, let's get a "welcome" thread, it would be nice if you introduced yourself and a picture of your car...
Let's make this Z forum somewhere to learn and discuss about our cars. before you post though, take a second to search, google also works within a website (e.g. ""hpfp" site:e89.zpost.com) and don't forget to

T89; I really like them now. I knew what I was getting when I ordered the car, but wasn't 100% keen on them truth be told. They've now grown on me and I like them a lot - haven't seen any 276's in my area yet, so I'm feeling special, for now.
Thanks Dave |

So this thread is like AA for Z4 owners, we all stand up and introduce ourselves?
Me: Hi, I'm Chris from Newtown, CT. I have a deep sea blue/tan leather 2010 Z4 35i with manual tranny and navigation plus a few goodies and I've been posted here since I got my car 2 months ago. My last bimmer was a 1984(!) and in between I've been driving 2 SAAB 900 Turbos, 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees, and a Lexus IS350. Crowd: Hi, Chris!

Hi people
My name is Yoon. I just joined this forum a few minutes ago.... Found this forum randomly through searching on Google. I've been in the VAG scene for all my driving life and still own a modified Audi A3 2.0T with APR Stg 2+ and BUNCH more. Been in NY, USA for 10 years but just recently moved to Amsterdam and bought the new Z4 a few days ago. I'm still waiting for the dealer to prep, register the vehicle for me. Hopefully I will get the car sometime next week since they told me it will most likely take about 5 business days for the plates and such... My A3 is still in NY but I'm trying to find a way to bring it over here... Only picture I have of the Z4 is an iPhone picture I took at the dealership in Amsterdam. Oh and btw, this is actually my very first bimmer I will take some quality pictures when I pick up the car next week and post a formal introduction and show off some of my previous VAG cars too This will have to do for now though... Hope to learn a lot from this board since i'm a noob to the bimmer world |

I am just an old fart that loves to drive and is crazy about Bimmers. My Z4 now is my 5th one (before my 2009 Z4 I drove a 2008 Z4 3.0is, a 2002 M3, a 1987 535is and a 1985 528i)
Memphis, I think we meet, I recall you welcoming me with a MBP remark a while back. godius, I concur in fact I always thought Memphis was a lady lol Dave, welcome to the site neighbor, lovely car, nice interior, great wheels! Z4Mike, Toe ease the pain of the wait, I recommend you visit here often and look at the nice photos. Hello Chris and Yoon, nice to meet you and enjoy the forum.

Relatively new to the forum, joined when I stated looking into the E89 Z4. My previous BMWs have only had 2 wheels. Great fun, but with retirement approaching I picked up this ED for fun rain or shine, since its pretty close to 2 wheel fun.
Crimson over Ext'd Coral Red w/Brushed Al Trim, N54, 6sp Man, Prem Sound, Comfort Access, Power/Heated Seats, Nav, & Sport Pack. A few photos from our recent ED - which were 18 fantastic days in Germany.
