It's true, the Z4 is a sophisticated evolutionary design that captures the very essence of sublime sports car realization. Sort of like Beethoven's Op61 Violin Concerto in D Major. It's quite intoxicating.
But dangit, we've got to get rough and tumble sooner or later!!!! Z black is Z beest! I've been dying to see a totally blacked out Z4 35i in Deep Sea Blue. Why not now! |

Congrats!! It looks sick already.
I'd go with the ones in the rear. (CX-R)

thanks guys for the feedback. I will stick to the black breytons for the moment since I got them at a relatively good price.
Is anyone here interested in a writeup for an audio upgrade? I am sending in my car for a week to fix up a 3 way component setup, with processors amps and subs while maintain the stock head unit. |

considering the high car price in your country, i believe audio set up won't come cheap. Mind to share the brand of hardware of the set up & damages( just curious). |

audio setup is relatively cheap in Singapore. Only reason for the crazy car prices is due to the high import tax on cars 127%.
My budget is 10k for the entire setup. For the system components I will share once I come back from my trip next week when the system is in place. I do know that it will be run on mainly DLS stuffs. http://www.dls.se/en/car/index.html |

how does the new Z4 compare to your S2000 as far as spirited driving experience goes.

I will reserved judging it for now since I have covered only 1000km in the last 1 week in the new z4. But first impression is the the s2000 is better in handling. I feel more involved. If I may quote my friend's line in an other forum since you asked about a sprited driving experience,
"Absolutely NO car with the same price or less will give a driver the kind of satisfaction with the vehicle dynamics that the S2000 dishes out. It ticks all the right boxes when it comes to going round corners and giving feedback. It shoots through the tightest gaps on the road with confidence and all the hooliganism you want. I can place the car on any spot of tarmac that I desire. I know that it will behave consistently and none of the surprise. I'll probably enjoy it more if I weren't changing gears all the time . It's bang for the buck as a driving car. Not the best though. Boxster is better. MX5 runs it close but that is a car for the S2000 driver's girlfriend's poodles' groomer. " The part that a s2000 is lighter (2700lb) will also contribute to its handling characteristics. With the Z4, Admittedly I have yet to have enough play time to get a feel, the body roll isnt exactly confidence inspiring. Having said that, its strange I do not miss my S as much as I thought I would. |

thanks, please let me know how they compare as you log in more miles on the z4.
not that i'll be making move to the z4 from my S2, i'm just curious to see the comparison between 2700lbs roadster vs. 3500lbs(?) roadster.

About that short antenna, can you tell me where in Singapore you got it from? I can get a friend to buy one and send it over to me. I don't think i can get one in sydney.
(tried calling peugeot on the 607 antenna and she wanted a vin number !! can you believe that, a vin number to buy an antenna). mav. |
