New BBK
New BBK front & rear installed last week. They are from PB-Brakes: 380 mm 8 pots front, 356 mm 6 pots rear. I have lost the e-park brake, but not a big issue for my daily use of the car. Here some pics:

For what concern emergencies when driving.... I have been driving around for 26 years and never used the hand brake for such a kind of situations... Anyway, i agree with you: that's the real trade off to take into account... Reason vs emotion...

That's some serious bling!
Have you had a chance to track the car yet and give those new breaks a workout? Did you do any modifications to the stock brake cooling ducts ? |

wheels make the the breaks look very small, are those 20s? I have 19s on mine and seem just about right. Nice break though would be questionable w/o the electronic parking break.

Do you have any error codes from removing the rear e-brake? If so how did you get rid of them?

Now I'm thinking either oem BBK fronts with upgraded f/r rotors /pads, or Rolloface front w/upgraded rear rotor /pads. |

I am interested. It is an elegant solution for the rear e-brake. Note here is their blog write-up on how it works. It's elegant but I'm bummed that it is designed to be mounted to the back of their caliper instead of "in-line" which would make it universal.
I have the BMW Performance / Brembo BBK for the front. I'd love to run the same setup in the rear, with an in-line electronic line lock. I thought there might be a solution in the hot rod world ... While the PB solution is elegant, $2k plus ship for rear brakes is a bit stiff, though not unreasonable for a complete solution. Filippo Last edited by fmorelli; 06-20-2016 at 10:04 AM.. |

Doesn't the PB brales come with the e-brake for the rear. Did you choose not to install it.
