Very nice!
I am 'due' for my 2nd Z4 in Spring as well! I am considering another make (well, really, there is a list of cars under consideration), but I keep coming back to the Z4. Maybe the fact that they will stop manufacturing the current generation within the next year or two contributes to making the car more desirable? Curious: did you look into getting something else instead? |

Thanks CeEl.
I actually did consider 2 other cars, the Audi TT and the Porsche Cayman S, but was not too impressed by the test drives. Getting back into the Z4 just felt right. What are the other cars you are considering?

SLK, Corvette, ... Really the usual suspects! A relative has the new Corvette C7, but only as a coupe, not convertible. Drove it a bit while visiting over thanksgiving, really liked it. Test drove some more last week and decided it's not for me after all. I also have the SL on my not-so-short short list.

All good cars. Really comes down to what you use it for. The SL would be a great grand tourer but the Z4 would be more practical zipping around the city. Cheers.

Beautiful color combo! A word of caution on those rims. Had the identical ones and one rim had a crack and all the air was out but the run flat masked it so I kept driving at pretty high speeds without knowing the better.
The crack and leak was discovered when I changed to PSS and have since installed a set of TPMS. If you don't have TPMS installed, do check the tire pressure diligently. Enjoy your beautiful Z4 Cheers!

Thanks for the tip! The car does have TPMS. I was hoping the TPMS would show the actual tire pressure, but I assume it only shows a light when the pressure is below a certain threshold. On another note... the previous owner rashed up the wheels a bit. He purchased the extended wheel/tire warranty through BMW. Any chance this covers driver error? |

TPMS default only show low tire pressure but not individual tire. But iDrive can be coded to show individual pressure and temp. There are coding services and obd2 devices you can buy online to do this.
Curb rash is cosmetic so it might not be covered under the wheel insurance. Best to call your rim/tire insurance company to be sure. Cheers.

I think the ER FMIC is a great mod, so you can run the "stage 1+" cobb tune. Not sure the oil cooler is needed if the car is street only. |

Thanks nicknaz. Car is driving great with the Cobb Stage 1 Tune. The FMIC should make things more interesting.
The LCI headlights and side indicators have arrived so they get installed with the M Sports bumper this week. Will update with photos after. Cheers.

Hello.
New ish owner in the UK (Cambridgeshire), picked up my 2010 23i M Sport in December. Not much in the way of pictures yet as the weather has been fairly useless or I've been busy, but here's one... BMW Z4 by jmbillings, on Flickr |

Hi,
Another new owner of a white Z4 35i here. I am from the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam. I finally sold my boat and got a roadster back. I learned that a boat only made me happy twice. When I bought it and when I sold it :-). Will post some pics when the weather here gets a bit better. |

Finally registered so I can post here!
I am a new BMW owner that picked up my 2014 Z4 28i with technology package and cold weather package in December. I traded my 2012 Mustang GT so it was quite the change but I am loving it so far! I'm in Georgia so we took the Z4 out to the country for a couple of hours today with the top down in 70 degree weather. I have always liked smaller cars and convertibles and finally got one. The technology in these things is phenomenal to me. Anyways, glad to be here! Anyone wanna buy a set of Mustang quarter window louvers? haha. Attached some images of my ride. I had them remove the front license plate |

Hello all - glad to be part of the group here. I've gone through every post on this 19 page thread here - so much Z4 porn! - wonderful! Glad to post pics of our 3wk old, new to me stock '14 sDrive35is.
This car is serious fun - major emphasis on serious! Its a playful beast that I find myself going "whoa" far more than any other car I've owned. So many other open spots, but the merc decides to park in the adjacent spot Eclipsed |

Howdy,
Just traded my 2014 X1 28i M sport in on a CPO'd BMWNA Factory Rep. 2014 x28i. Needed to get back into a convertible AND 6-speed. Definitely impressed with the little N20 engine (same as my X1). Still have my 2000 Z3 M Coupe and once had a 2000 Z3 M Roadster (Dakar yellow) so I'm not a total noob to the Z forums. I plan on running the Z4 as my DD in lieu of the X1. I also have my Style 216 wheels/all seasons from my e91 installed until the WX warms up enough to drive SAFELY on the Bridgestone RE050A's.
