F30 BMW Performance Brakes fit the E89!
Just stumbled across this german thread, thought I share it with you:

from that same thread (via google translate)
"An alternative braking solution for the rear axle is not foreseeable due to the parking brake problem" It is too bad the isn't a larger rotor setup available for our rear brakes. I have found the rears need more heat capacity due to their usage as fake LSD and (possibly) due to the rear wide weight bias allowing the rear brakes to contribute a bit more to braking |

It's also considerbly more expensive than the old BMW performance brake kit if i recall correctly. But man that looks so nice!

Definitely on 'must buy' list for me next time!! A bit of an tangent, but it always annoys me that there are OEM performance parts for LSD, suspension, brakes, power chip, additional cooling for the family car (3er sedan) but not the 'sports car' (Z roadster) |

I'm lolling at some posts about this where the entire effort seems to be about making the brakes look nice rather than actually adding anything in terms of performance. I'm sure there are cheaper ways to make your brakes look nice if you really want. For me, I'd spend this money only if the car simply didn't stop that well. Which mine does.

Any bmw performance brake kit is a upgrade in rotor diameter and stopping power to the 35i, looking better is just icing on the cake. I wouldn't touch a thing if it came with the 35is brakes.

Brembo and StopTech have BBK's for the E89 now. It does cost an arm and a leg though.

Also, this BBK along with the E9x Performance brakes will clear all OEM BMW 18s - aftermarket will vary of course. |

Thanks for the info. Surely there must be someplace selling just the fronts??
By the time I get that into Australia it will be as expensive as these Nashin 6-pot calipers I been pricing: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=824117 They apparently do some 380mm rotors+6pot calipers for the e89 fronts only. |

Digging up this old thread...anyone know a place that is selling the front brakes for the F30 performance brakes? WIthout Rotors would be even better.
