What DIY have you done?
Got a little bored today and decided that I want to do some DIY to the Z.
Tried to search for ideas but couldn't find anything interesting to do. Doesn't have to be completely DIY, could be a mod you installed on your own. to start off, here's what I've done on my weekends:

I don't have 6FL, which is an option pre-2012 but became standard equipment in 2012. There is an OEM 6FL retrofit kit, but it's Europe only so you can't order it through the dealership. You'd have to go through an importer which is much more expensive.

The existence of aftermarket parts does not automatically void your warranty. They must prove that the failure of a part is caused by or related to the aftermarket part to deny you warranty. Of course, you may have to get a lawyer involved at that point if they try to screw you.

Did you use the leather touch up on your seat bolster? And if so what did you buy? Mine is scuffed just like the last 3 Zs I've had.

BMWpedals.com. They are a perfect fit for the Z4 and look awesome. Easy install too.

SNK - in order for me to earn my Dinan badge, I had to get the Dinan Pedal set as I was 2 points shy from getting it. They look nice.

Missed this yesterday. I'm sure that's not a problem. But if I was having problem with the hard top and have to take it to the dealers, I would take the smarttop out just to be safe.
