Is it worth me downsizing from 19's to 18's before running non-RFT's?
Or will the difference be negligable?

Dunno. Still have the stock 19" RFTs on my Z4. I'll let you know when I run out of tread and replace them with regular tires

That will be a long while as the RFT don't grip the road..they hop it!

Having PSS for the last 2 days has shown what a difference a tire can make.

the eighteen in wheels are a softer ride than the 19's, so it seems to make sense that the tires would be an even great help in that area, so you dont get a jarring kick back from bumps.
