Difficult assumption. I'm getting a 2011 lease for $570 with 2K out of pocket

Sorry but not difficult one bit. This is for a short term lease of 9 months. New leases have you locked in for 24/36 months. This is ideal for someone in an in between stage. Can't compare with new pricing.
I disagree. They are as locked in as you are in trading your lease. They can get the lower rate, less out of pocket, and trade it anytime.

And deal with the hassle of that..Right...not apples to apples. Sorry buddy.
And they would get stuck with the non-refundable out of pocket up front fees and taxes, where as the $ I am asking for is fully refundable, guaranteed.

Sharp colours - GLWS!

To the commentators - bother to read the rules - this is a 'For Sale' section, not 'Let me crap on your post since I have nothing better to do'.

I with OP the best of luck with his assumption. I was just commenting that any lease trader right now will be difficult given the excellent rates and residuals for new leases.

Absolutely right a two year lease is much preferred to one with less than 9 mo. You are caught between a rock and a hard place. This thread was begun in April and still no assumption????????
