aFe Z4 Downpipes
Hi Zpost,
I've been talking with our rep over at aFe about bringing some downpipes to the Z4 community for a while now and I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I just received word that they are having a meeting today about manufacturing Z4 downpipes. This is great news for the Z4 community! This meeting is to assess the market and discuss plans on whether to go through with this or not, so it does not necessarily guarantee any downpipes. But I'm confident aFe will bring downpipes to the community as we have a very close relationship with aFe and they rely on us to relay our BMW customer's wants & needs. I'll keep my eyes & ears open to keep you updated on aFe's progress on the downpipes. Also, feel free to address any concerns, voice any opinions, and ask questions - I'll be checking periodically and I'll try my best to help you guys out. -Frank |

For the love of god please make us some downpipes. And while you're at it, an upgraded intercooler.

Finally! I wonder if it costs that much to add new design in their manufacturing process. They obviously have some hungry for downpipes potential customers.

But it's definitely worth it, they either usually hook it up with a free set of downpipes or discounted one. -Frank |

UPDATE 11/18/11:
Our aFe rep came down today to visit and here's what I found out: 1. Z4 Downpipes are definitely good to go 2. aFe is currently in the process of expanding and is moving their R&D department into a new buildling so this may delay any production of downpipes until February. |

Edit- I know it's a bit early to ask. But about how much do you reckon the downpipes for the Z4 N54 would cost? |

Not sure on pricing - It's way too early to guesstimate. However, I do know that aFe will release at a very competitive pricing. I assume that the pricing can't be too far off than the N54 downpipes price.
I know, I'm excited too! |
