Having said all this, it's not clear to me that the E89 with DCT really can use the tune on the street. Track, maybe, but the DCT to so flexible and fast that you run out of road before you get to torque and rpm limits.

It's interesting to hear that about the DCT. Everything I've read about the DCT is that it is a strong or stronger than a standard manual trans.
Am I missing something here?
