With regards to what is going on with my car then I don't have a clue, there are no errors, my friend has a 2011 Z4 35is and his steering also doesn't seem to stiffen up in sport as well as his shocks too and we have checked on both cars that they are the EDC shocks, they all plugged in, checked in the ECU box to make sure it's all connected and that the previous owner never coded them out which is exactly what I did on my previous car when I fitted coilovers. I need to figure this out.
I also went under the car to have a look at the steering rack itself to make sure there was no unplugged or loos plugs, everything is perfect and clean. So this is interesting.

Did you ever code back in the EDC when you removed the aftermarket coil overs and reverted to stock when you sold the car? If so can you share the instructions on how to do so? I am looking to do the same
