To remove the bulb, twist it downward towards the center of the car (to the left from drivers side, to the right of passenger side). There really is only one way you can twist it anyways because the other way is blocked by a screw so you can't make a mistake. Once you twist it, just slowly pull it and off they go.

You mention above how to remove the bulb. I've tried twisting it as you say, but it turns really hard. I don't want to force anything and break something. Did yours turn hard too? I tried both sides and neither bulb would release.

NEVER MIND! I WASN'T PUSHING THE BULB IN AND TURNING IT AT THE SAME TIME. UNFORTUNATELY I BROKE ONE OF THE LITTLE PLASIC CLASPY THINGS ON ONE SIDE OF THE PLUG. I'M GUESSING THE OTHER ONE SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO HOLD THE BULB SECURELY.
