I need something that is easier to lug around while traveling and something that has amazing auto focus capabilities. I love the SLR concept for seeing what your shooting. This mirrorless design seems to be the best of both worlds. Would you buy the a6500 again or is there another model I should be looking at? Thanks.

I looked into mirrorless cameras a few months back and ultimately bought an XT-2. It's not as small as the a6500 but is still pretty portable. The Fuji 18-55 kit lens takes amazing pictures. I just came back from a 3 week trip to SEA and all I brought with me were the XT2 w/18-55 and 35mm f2. I'm sure the sony is good but you'd have to buy their higher end lenses to take good pictures. If you want even more portability, look into the x100f with fixed 23mm lens or the xt20. A few times I wished the XT2 was a bit lighter but I'd gladly choose the slightly heavier weight and ruggedness over the smaller XT20.
