Notwithstanding size and weight increases throughout the years, lap times have dropped on newer models. Driving feel and enjoyment is of course harder to quantify and chart, however.

This graph clearly shows that the M version of X5 is the worst thing ever to come out of M. To this day I don't understand the reason they made this car.
Who has ever said "I think today we should all go on a track with kids on the back seat and some food and drinks in the trunk so that we can have a picnic after our track session"
