Yea it rubs, but the e89 fenders are slightly different from other BMW's, especially e9x/e46/e82.

If you take a look at the rear, you should quickly spot that there is nothing to "roll", and you should also see that there is a second layer of "fender" which is part of the wheel well, and that is what my wheel was rubbing on for the first few weeks. Lucky, since it is only part of the wheel well which is made out of plastic, it will be shaved off by the tires eventually. I think it took me around 20-30 rubs before it's gone. I still rub once in a while when I go thru bigger dips.
