You can definitely install this accessory. BMW only allows 30 minutes in the instructions. The hardest part is prying the plastic covers off the roll bars. Use a putty knife to create a gap and then carefully use a screwdriver to pry them apart using the putty knife to protect the edges of the front cover so you don't have to replace it. The front covers can stay on the car and do not need to be replaced if you are careful.
