Here is the difference between Black Sapphire, my car and a Gloss Black that I have seen. Space Gray is also nice, had it on a 550i. I've seen it in person on the Z4 but don't have any good pics.
EDIT: My memory may be playing tricks on me. I surely recall the 30i launch Z4 (second pic) was gloss Black but the picture has the sparkle of Black Sapphire.
Bottom line, I don't know which it is.
