I arrived back in Ithaca this afternoon and the first thing I did was fit one of Style 290 wheels I bought from you onto the front. I am very pleased to confirm that they fit perfectly!
I thought I'd post this news to the board just so other can learn that the 290 wheels do indeed fit on a 35i.
