Below are some instructions per Matt335ci. A second pair of hands makes this a much easier process.
1) open hood
2) remove latch/catch point for the hood on both left and right side (torx screwdriver if i remember corrrectly)
3) with a long screwdriver (and 2nd person) push on the sidemarker tab on the inside of the car, at the same time the 1st person can wiggle the sidemarker and ultimately pull it off by pulling on the upper right most point
4) unplug wires
5) plug in new sidemarker, test with hazards ON
6) snap into place - put in lower left hand corner in first
7) put car back together and enjoy
