As a former service manager for a luxury brand I can confirm that tasks like wheel/tire replacement are done by the the greenest of green technicians. Even if you do get an experienced tech to do the job, they are going to rush the job so they can get onto something that can make them money $$$$$$.
Let's not even talk about the guys running the car wash
Those guys are hired at the absolute lowest rate possible. I've known service managers who higher guys you wouldn't trust with a bag of potato chips, much less to take reasonable care of a car when they wash it.
My heart goes out to all you folks who have had bad experiences.
