My dealer removed the BS RFTs at delivery and installed a set of Yokohama ENVigor tires on my OEM 18" wheels. OEM TPM sensors stayed on the wheels. Absolutely no problems in 3000 miles.
Did the same thing on my 07 and 09 E93 verts with no problems.
Bottom line: if anyone says you can't run non-RFTs on the OEM wheels with the OEM sensors is full of you know what.
