That's what I thought too, but cant tell for sure.
I really dig the re-designed 3 with the blacked out grill. I don't mind the side of the grill being silver and exposed, in fact I think its pretty cool... that was of course until I saw this one with it blacked out. Sort of changes the larger visual of the front of the car.
