IMHO, intake is just for noise. Haven't seen any time slips or dyno pulls (hood closed, fan blowing into front vents) showing a difference

Thanks for the input, gents. That was sort of my original thought, as well. I already bought a higher flow panel filter. But seeing that an intake modification was required for Stage 2 tunes on the Cobb, I wasn't sure if a higher flow filter would suffice.
