Check out the thread "car swaying after changing wheels and tyres". Others are talking about the same problem. Your tire widths should be fine. The only thing that may be an issue is your tires will have a different circumference in those sizes. It may be affecting your ABS sensors and traction control. With your tires turning at different speeds, your car may be sensing a spin or slide and is trying to correct it. It may just be that your new tires are following the contours of the road more than your old ones.
