Bingo. I have autopay set up as a default for everything I pay on. However, I go on to all my accounts almost daily to verify my spend and payments sent, so if I want to alter how much I feel like paying for that period, I just change the amount.
It's saved me a few times from having a late payment, but that was maybe a handful of times over the course of 8 years. Still nice to have a backup plan.
