HAHA. I wish I was back up to 2 HDPE/month. I had some good quarters where I went monthly but I just haven't had the consistency in 2013 that I wanted.
Actually in 2013 the majority of my track days were with RENTAL CARS (i.e. Chevy Malibu, F30 328 xdrive) in Toronto when I would go with my brother and his friends while visiting. (and annoyingly, those did not get limp mode or power reduction from engine oil temp.. unlike a certain N54 "sports car" I know...

For me the symptoms were "intermittent long cranking at start" and "rough idle"
The injectors are getting checked out tomorrow after the HPFP goes in to see if there is an issue there as well.
Agreed, hurray for leasing. I need to check on my service records but I think this is close to my 8th visit in 18 months.
I am actually quite bummed by this, because I was planning to buy the Z's replacement outright, but my faith in BMW (and long term ownership of turbo cars, for that matter) is a bit shaken
