Heres a new one. Yesterday I left my car out in the blazing Florida sun all day at work (uncovered) and when I drove it home later, the pax seat belt warning chime went off, as if somoene was sitting there unbuckled. I pulled over and restarted the car and the chime did not go off again.

Well I did a search in other bimmer forums and found out that extreme heat does something to the sensors and this has happened to other owners.
