I have checked the S100 products @
www.s100.com/s100_cs.htm but I wasn't able to identify which specific product in their range you used. Most of them are cleaners not protectants, so perhaps you used their S100 Wheel Cleaner Gel. I wouldn't put it on painted alloy wheels though.
