Who knows, I may end up with red or black.

The beige interior in my E85 was darker than the beige interior in my E89. Neither, however, was something I would refer to as Saddle Brown. The dealer had an E89 with the Ivory White interior and, side by side, even the E89 beige is clearly darker than that.
Of course all of the leather is dyed, but over the years I have always gravitated to either black or some shade of brown for leather interiors when given a choice. For lack of a better label, there's something more "natural" about those colors. The red or blue or white choices always look striking on someone else's car, but I wonder what it would be like to live with it every day. (That said, I had a 1959 Triumph TR3 with a red interior with white piping and that was quite attractive.)
Chacun à son goût.
Cheers,
