According to Dieter, who races Z4s on the Ring, and has tested several dozen E89s, the springs are the way to go. Sway bars also help, and will give the car a "Go Kart" feel, but due to the adaptive suspension being differently tuned between the models the improvement is most noticable on the smaller models, and must less noticable in the 35i/is.
