In a crowded lot, I always try and park next to the nicest car, especially another Z4. I'm hopeful that the owner is another Z/BMW enthusiast and is careful when they open their doors so they don't ding my car or theirs. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I just cringe if I have to park next to a vehicle that is in bad shape.
