This is interesting cause today on the highway, doing 120km/hour (70mph) I noticed a bit of hood flutter. Scared me a bit I have to say cause with a Jeep Wrangler, which has rubber closing clamps, this is normal. But a BMW?
So I pulled over at a gas station but all seemed closed properly. Wanted to check as well if there was a hood open warning light so, with a running engine in first gear pulled the latch in the cabin but nothing came on...?
Final remark: I would not be able to close it by dropping it; the two pneumatic springs are too strong. So I just close it gently and then give it a final decisive push.
