NHSTA acknowledgement letter

I attached the NHTSA acknowledgement letter sent in response to BMW notice of intent to perform this recall.

My recent experiences, related?, I suspected misfiring, but no codes thrown or warning lights and then as they continued I began to suspect it was not a single cylinder but a significant hot wire or ground somewhere dropping out. Then I noticed my settings in-dash for optional 3-blink turn signals, self locking doors had reverted to default settings....???? Maybe.......
I just hurt to think how long 500,000 recalls will take to execute and I hope all are performed without any serious incidents.
