Just in case anyone is missing context. Here's Sebring where the #911 car decided that the inside line was exactly what he needed to make an awesome pass at turn 1... on slicks... in the wet.
And then this weekend, the #912 Porsche takes the "I'm a torpedo and I'm gonna sink your yellow submarine/Corvette" racing line.
If you want to take the inside line you A) have to establish position
before the corner, and B) have to hold your line; you can't just run wide/go straight in to other cars).
Porsche's factory drivers are incredibly talented, but they have (apparently) given up caring about clean racing.
And yes, I realize that lots of people will point out a long history of this crap from Porsche (2009 ALMS at Laguna Seca, anyone?), which is why they're simultaneously one of the most popular and most hated teams. The fact that they win a ton of races (even when they're not being shits) makes it easy for their fans to overlook this kind of garbage.
