Would BMW discover the tune during routine maintenance? If a car is a lease, is it easy to pull the tune back out before the lease-end?

Stock intake is fine you could do exhaust if you wanted gains would be dependent on design. The software cannot be detected by dealers. It is very easy to re-flash the car back to stock.
