Aren't these the reasons why we buy BMW's - no cost maintenance
Take it to the dealer and refuse to take possession until they fix it or cover you under the Lemon Law - if unfixable after 3 tries.
I would not do anything to my car unless I was out of warranty or was modding - my 0.02.
