Warranty Extension - 2011 sDrive23i
Dear everyone,
Sent in my car for servicing today at the authorised dealership (AD) and was advised of an on-going promo offers to have my car covered under warranty till the 10th year. Following are the cost involved:-
1 year (1797 USD)
2 years (3296 USD)
3 years (5124 USD)
As it is right now, the car does not have any existing issue. I once had the entire engine replaced under warranty in Dec 2015 but never had any issue with the AC, roof or transmission etc.
I was advised that a simple replacement of the compressor, if needed, would already cost $2747 USD.
Mileage of car is currently 123501 km.
My current service package will end in March 2019.
Is it a no-brainer to go ahead with the warranty coverage? What potential issues might i face in months or years to come?
