The design changed on 9/10 build dates. Your build date is the current model TPMS.
My 35i build date is 3/10. I have the early design and not compatible with new sensor system. I learned the hard way when I assumed the wheel/tires off a 10/10 build 2011 35i would work with my 2011 35i.
