The two microswitches on both sides of the couplings have to be replaced (in advance), in your case right now.
Your current roof problems are several independant(!) roof issues, which may of course pop up at the same time.

Regarding the EMF module:
Get the (tiny) pin 2 checked, as it's the permanent power suply of this module. If there is any kind of corrosion , get the whole plug cleaned up.
