The Merino in my 2014 35i ended up costing just $140 more than the Kansas. Can't beat that if it's as nice as the stuff the poster talks about for the M5 and 7-series! I read somewhere around here that other leathers (Dakota, Kansas, Boston, and one I can't remember) are all similar - a bit stiff, but designed to last. We shall see.

Update: Nevada is the one I was missing
