Front plate - you can't be pulled over (at least in New York) for this alone. If you get pulled over for something else, they can tack it on. I guess I'm willing to take the risk and I've never had a problem. If we had euro style plates, I might consider it because it wouldn't overlap the grills or hang below that part of the bumper. But prob not...I think it dramatically takes away from the appearance of the front of the car. the back plate is OK for 2 reasons: it fits in a recess so it's not sticking out there and I'm more picky about what I look like comin' atcha. Going away from you the dust obscures the car anyway LOL.
Clear bra- no way. Dirt always builds up on the edge and I think the paint doesn't shine as well.
