I don't clear bra my car for the same reason you mentioned - why keep it nice for the new owner?
I like contrast, hence I has a white with red interior and matte black wheels.
Reflectors: don't really care. I didn't even notice it. On the M3, however, it's annoying as it looks out of place.
Front plates: hated it but it's ok not to have front plates in California (unless you meet a cop that has nothing better to do).
Debadged my rear Z4 emblem as it doesn't look right. I kept the emblem on my M3.
Tint: didn't like it as I drive with the windows/top down most of the time anyway. I like to be seen too haha.
