Maintenance on the paint is actually easier than glossy paint.

Use a regular shampoo and insect remover
Microfiber cloth, wax, sealant and final inspection cleaner can damage the matte paint
Do not polish or wax the vehicle
No mechanical means of cleaning the surface
Remove insect remains, tar and other residues immediately

I mean no claying, no wax, no polish. No need to worry about pesky swirl marks. Just wash and dry with a leaf blower (which i already do anyways, I have a black car
). There are also waxes for matte paints out there if you want an extra protection but overall, if your car stays in the garage, I think it is easier to maintain.
