Well said, the word grotesque and Honda Civic also come to mind. Some BMW bloodlines are needed. Their image has always been very tasteful and elegant even with the subtle 7 series. Hate the glitzy M.B type grill as well
I am confident that this was a publicity stunt. It got on the cover of a lot of car magazines. It has some nice basic lines and interesting ideas that have potential.
So will it go upmarket, stay the same or go a little downmarket like the E85 soft top. There is more potential and less competition a little down market. The MB roadsters all have hard tops now. In any event I will not be peering out from under a surrounding soft top.
