What is this light and how to get rid of it?

I've been tinkering with the lighting on our new Z4 35i. I just replaced the halogen bulbs in the angel eyes with Lux H8 v4s (w/ adjustable color temperature). I also have a set of amber LEDs for the turn signal bulbs.
But I can't seem to figure out to do about the illuminated amber LED in the attached photo. What is that light? Is there a way to replace it with a whitish/blue LED? It looks to be part of the headlight housing, making me think that replacing the bulb is not going to be easy. This begs the question whether it can be disabled through coding?
I tried searching the forum but did not find anything helpful on this issue.
